Random thoughts about the place of 70max in the world and other related issues…

70max in the USA

Coverage of 70max on Treehugger (see “in the news”) has lead to a number of Americans contacting us and asking for stickers. Very exciting, but funny as we had been completely UK centric in our thinking – due to the research being for UK use and the fact that the rest of Europe uses Kilometers so the whole 70mph thing doesn’t translate. But mostly because most Brits think everyone in the US drives at 55mph (us included until recently corrected on this site).

If everyone in the USA drive at 70max how much CO2 would that save?

We now have stickers in car windows in the USA, New Zealand, Australia and a request from Malaysia!

Many requests come with the thoughtful offer to pay postage. At the moment we can cover it but it could soon add up. We are considering ways to enable people to pay/donante to 70max. Our plan was to look for a sponsor soon.

If anyone would like to help distribute stickers (become a partner) outside the UK let us know through the comments section below.
