you will emit 40g less CO2 per mile, that’s 200,000g per year

Based on an average car’s emissions. Read more.

If you drive an average 12,000 miles per year and an average 40% of those miles are on motorways that is 4,800 motorway miles each year.

If you have an average car (1.4 to 2.0 litre petrol engine) at 80mph you emit 40 grams (14%) more CO2 every mile than at 70mph.

If you multiply that 40g by the average 4,800 annual motorway miles we do it adds up to 192,000g of CO2 for every car.
